The theatrical performance is a grotesque hand-puppet burlesque of the immortal story of the Three Musketeers, whose motto was “One for all, and all for one!” The audience will get everything it could wish for: suspense, humor, situational comedy, fierce duels – combined with professional puppetry and well-sung songs.

The play was inspired by the novel by Alexandre Dumas, Sr. and the silent film burlesque by Max Linder, has already been performed over 500 times, and has won 21 international awards.

About the Group:

The immediate predecessor of ALFA Theatre, the Children's Theatre, opened in September 1966 in the ALFA premises on Americká Street. In 1992, it moved to a modern building at Rokycanská 7 and received its current name. Since 1970, the theatre has undertaken over 100 international tours. Since 1967, it has co-organized the festival SKUPA'S PILSEN. Since early 2015, MgA. Jakub Hora has served as the theatre's director.

The current creative team at the theatre, along with external collaborators and the acting ensemble, favors a comedic theatre approach and continues to view puppetry as a dominant and remarkably appealing stage phenomenon. The theatre appeals to a broad audience—children, youth, and adults. Its repertoire is varied in both theme and genre, ranging from classic and modern fairy tales to world drama.
