Between the inner and outer worlds of a person, at this subtle, blurred boundary, we find a door and open it. A metaphysical, surreal journey begins, diving into the depths of the unconscious. “Incognitum” employs the language of contemporary dance, puppetry, and cinematic illusion to explore the state of social isolation. What if loneliness were an opportunity?

About the Group:
Sara Angius is a contemporary dancer and choreographer who has lived in Braunschweig since 2013. Following her time as a member of the ballet corps at the State Theater, she has developed her work in the independent scene and at various state theaters.
Johanna Ehlert trained as a stage artist at Lido in Toulouse and deepened her expertise in the creation of figures, masks, and costumes. In their projects, the two artists have developed a shared visual language that harmoniously combines dance, puppetry, and illusion.
