But instead of going to sleep, Max embarks on a journey. He crosses the forest, sails across the sea, and eventually lands on the island of the Wild Things, where he proves that he is the wildest of them all. But is being wild enough? Or does one long for something warm in their belly and a cozy bed after all? With music, dance, puppetry, and illustrations on the big screen, Magdalena Spinka and Maximilian Tröbinger bring the children’s book to life.“I’ll eat you up!” shouts Max.
“No dinner for you!” replies his mother.
