A figure enters a new space. She has a purpose, an unfocused desire to furnish it. The freedom to shape it herself initially lifts her spirits, but soon doubts begin to creep in. Which style should she choose? Her struggle with endless possibilities becomes visible through the constant reconstruction and deconstruction of the space using materials. She tries to make a good decision. But this is not easy, especially when another figure – and the audience – suddenly get a say. A mask and material theatre piece with grotesquely distorted figures, wood, light, words and music. A cascade of tipping points and the discovery of resonance and resistance.
Between complex construction concepts, bodies become visible that resonate with given and self-built architectures and confront their challenges and risks.
