Matthias Kuchta (D)
Generational Change, Changing Times, a Family Mosaic

From age 14 | Duration: 45 minutes

MINORITEN GROSSER SAAL
Wednesday March 18, 2026 | 6:00 p.m.

In this mosaic-like narrative, Matthias Kuchta explores the many intertwined threads of his own family history, discovering historical connections, stumbling across simultaneities, forgotten and unspoken things, and the susceptibility of reasonable people to right-wing extremist clamour.

A storytelling performance with letters, postcards, paper figurines and sand, ranging from the Prusso-Austrian War through the partition of Denmark to Radegast Station in the Litzmannstadt Ghetto, from Marta Zade’s signature stamp to Generation Germany.

Author: Matthias Kuchta
