"I want something from you, you want something from me ... and what does my kitchenware actually want?"
A clownesque examination of wanting and resistance, with the help of object theatre .
A tea kettle is designed to boil water for tea. It's his purpose. But what if the teapot refuses? The perfidy of the object is the starting point for this clownesque object theater piece. A kettle that decides not to stay on the hot plate. A kindhearted attempt to persuade him with the help of other kitchen friends. An outburst of anger, disappointment and redemption and eventually the realization "I can't make you the object of my needs."
Libertee takes very human relationship patterns and illuminates them in a theatrical way. It will be emotional, funny, physically wild and also a bit musical. And without any language.
