The fairy tale is a kind of initiation story in which the main character, young Jánoska, grows into a strong and self-confident János through trials. The story is enriched with Hungarian folk songs and live folk music.
The group Firtosiak is a family with three daughters living on a farm. Besides their daily life on the farm, the family engages in visual arts, folk music, fairy tale research, puppetry, etc. This life is made visible in their productions.Shadow Play based on a Hungarian folk tale by Benedek Elek.
