“You never win the grand prize!” the aunt says. But of course, the children do win the pony after all! Now the pony has to be smuggled home – past hotel porters, conductors and the aunt. Because adults always know better. Or do they?
An adventurous journey begins, with not only suitcases piling up, but problems as well. Joining the adventure are Aunt Charlyn, two puppets and a very plump pony.
About the Group:
The freelance puppeteer Dorothee Carls developed a particular passion for the diverse narrative and expressive possibilities of puppetry and material theatre during her studies at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. Together with Michael Hatzius, she founded the independent company “Theater Urknall” in 2004. With Annika Pilstl she performs as “Die exen”, among others in the hand puppet production “Die Geierwally”. At the festival, the two can be seen together with the piece “kaputt”.
