Klaus embarks on a hallucinatory journey with his friend Martin, which quickly reveals itself as the resurrection of his fears, regrets, and longings. Trapped in his own mind, the world around him feels distorted: bodies warp, familiar faces become strange, and reality shatters before his eyes. Klaus’s vulnerability is underscored by the gloveless hand puppets, which expose the performers’ hands as the characters’ naked bodies. The audience is drawn into a fever dream of ecstasy, blood, and eroticism — and emerges on the other side.
About the Group:
Clara Ecke and Xeno Scholpp met while studying Contemporary Puppetry Arts at HSF Busch Berlin. Their shared passion for absurdity on stage and improvisation became the starting point of their collaboration.
